There are no blurry or fuzzy radiographic films here at Austin Dental. Our high-tech imaging equipment creates precise and high-definition images. Your dentist will be able to assess your health and plan your treatment like never before.
3D images are used instead of impressions to ensure a more accurately shaped and more precise fitting crown. Traditional crowns made from old-fashioned impressions just can’t match the results of a CEREC same-day crown.
How Does CEREC Work?
Using advanced software, 3D images are used to create the plan that our CEREC machine will follow when making your crown. Then our in-office CEREC machine mills your finished crown from a solid block of ceramic. The process takes just minutes and the end result is a natural-looking and highly durable restoration.
Once your permanent crown is bonded in place by your dentist, you’ll be ready to go!
